QHSE policy and objectives

Our QHSE policy and QHSE objectives have been established to serve as rallying points intended to guide the organization towards” ZERO ACCIDENTS, ZERO LOSS”. We aim to run our operations in such a way as to ensure the safety of our personnel and to ensure we have a good and safe working environment that protects personnel against accidents, unnecessary injury and prevents pollution.

We have established a set of policies that show our commitments to Quality, Health, Working Environment, Safety, the External Environment and Sustainability. These policies are part of our management system and form the basis for the preparation of overall QHSE goals and KPIs.

Our overall QHSE goals are:

  • 0 damage
  • 0 critical incidents
  • 0 quality deviation without learning
  • 0 emissions to the external environment

QHSE Management Systems

Procedures, routines, checklists, policies and manuals are available to all employees via our web-based management system “Landax”. The documents are revised, updated and checked in accordance with our internal procedure. A designated document owner is appointed, who is responsible for each governing document. Besides governing documents, the management system also contains processes, a non-conformance handling module, risk management module, equipment maintenance module.

An annual plan for HSE and environmental activities is established, describing objectives and activities planned.

All personnel shall be acquainted with accidents, health and pollution risks and be given all necessary information, training and exercise.  Undesired events (accidents, near-misses etc.) shall undergo non-conformance treatment and all necessary corrective actions be introduced.

Experience gained from the non-conformance and improvement suggestions system as well as audits, health surveys by the company health service and other pro-active initiatives, shall form the basis for further development of the company’s safety system.
