PSW Technology has signed an agreement with an International offshore drilling contractor for a deep-water riser system.

The work involves services for inspection, classification and testing of the riser systems.

Work starts immediately and benefits from the company’s core services of logistics, certification, preparation, and maintenance. Equipment and services will be delivered from PSW’s modern facilities at Mongstad. This is a sizable (1) contract for the company. Delivery will take place Q2-2024.

“This contract demonstrates PSW’s unique expertise and services related to well control and drilling equipment for the rig market. It is a great recognition that PSW Technology has been awarded this contract,” says Richard Cornell, Managing Director in PSW Technology.

(1) A sizeable contract is defined to be between NOK 20 million and NOK 50 million.

(2) A substantial contract is between NOK 50 million and NOK 150 million.

(3) A large contract is over NOK 150 million.
